Why Web Design Companies Don't Include SEO Services
Web design companies seem to avoid doing any seo services for you during the process of building your website. Once your website is completed you're not getting any visitors because you don't have any titles, descriptions or meta tags to show the search engine what your website is all about.
Creating Visits has been building websites for a long time for many different lines of business. Each has a unique way of becoming its own special website that the business owners love and end up making a lot of money from. The web design is only half of the reason website make a lot of money, the other half comes from search engine optimization. It's basically finding out how search engines choose the website that ends up in the first 10 results.
Think of your website like a book that has a title and many chapters and within those chapters are more pages with titles and content. If your book is about vacations you shouldn't expect to show up for "seo services" or "web design". Search engines put a lot of weight on each page title and most definitely the website domain name. Type in "Creating Visits" and you'll find www.creatingvisits.com first which means you should choose a good domain name that you can show up for right away.
Web design companies will charge you thousands for your website and thousands more to title and tag it to be seen in the search engines. That's wrong. There isn't too much more work involved to just add titles and descriptions. However, there's more to getting ranked then just titles. You need to write articles, press releases and a lot of content. You also need to place the articles on article directory websites to gain links to your website which makes you more popular.
Second: Get a template. Make sure you use the actual html to make changes.
Third: Pull up the website and it will say Home, Services and Contact Us at the top. Find it in the HTML surrounded by >Home< and change it to whatever you want.
Forth: Save and Refresh your website. See the changes you made and continue to play around with it. You can search online for "html code for paragraph" or "html code for bold". It will always tell you to surround the word with start <> and end >. There are also many videos that will show you the basics and you can just copy and paste them into your website.
